Sorta Italian. Always authentic.
We might act more Italian than we really are, but our grandpa’s 100-year-old meatball recipe is truly authentic. Seriously. Take it from three East Side sisters who were raised on those meatballs. They’re really darn good. Or as our grandpa used to say, “Please pass the vino.” (See? Authentic.)

You don’t have to be a meat lover to love our meatball spices. They’re super yummy delicious whether you add them to pork, poultry or any plant-based ingredients your taste buds desire.
Grandpa’s Original Recipe
Ingredients:
« 2 lbs ground beef (85% lean)
« 1 lb ground pork
« 1 egg
« ¼ cup ketchup
« 1 squirt yellow mustard
« Whole jar of spices
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together with your hands and roll in 1.5” balls (makes 60).
Bake at 450° on foil-lined baking sheet until meatballs are brown on top and nearly black on bottom. Or fry them in oil in a cast iron skillet (like our Grandpa did).
If they’re savory, spicy and crunchy outside, you’ve done them just right. Enjoy!
Tip: You can always freeze uncooked meatballs and save them for another time. Freeze on baking sheet and then store in resealable plastic bag. Meatballs can be cooked frozen
